More/Other Information:
Teaching has always been a passion and, as a physician, Dr. Jimenez is constantly educating patients about their situations. Education is paramount in medicine. It is a two-way street. His patients have taught him more than he has taught them. Dr. Jimenez learned about what a doctor should do from the best aspects of his father, Dr. G. E. Jimenez, as well as Dr. Stanley Biber, and Dr. Sally Fabec. His medical philosophy could be summed up with this phrase: "cure sometimes, relieve often, and care always."Practicing in Trinidad is challenging. The medical resources in small towns are by nature limited. That's why good working relationships with the hospital office and nursing staff at our clinic are so important. Dr. Jimenez tries to keep this in the forefront of care and tries to be the type of physician who could do the most for his patients without sending them to specialists. That is what family medicine doctors should do. When patients need to see a specialist he tries to be a coordinator of their care.
Dr. Jimenez enjoys working with young people, teaching, and spending time with his family; his wife, seven children, and grandchildren.
