Education:

Dr. Wright received her bachelor's degree in biology from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces. She received her master's degree in physical therapy from the University of Texas at El Paso. Dr. Wright received her doctorate in medicine from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine located in Albuquerque. She completed her residency in general surgery at Texas Tech University located in Lubbock.

Dr. Wright is board certified in general surgery.

Biography:

Dr. Wright joined the Mt. San Rafael Hospital team in 2025, and serves as a general surgeon in the Mt. San Rafael Hospital Specialty Clinic.

Dr. Wright comes to us most recently from Salida, Colorado, where she served as a general surgeon for Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center. She also serves as a general surgeon as part of the Navy Reserves. Prior to her work at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center, she served as the Chair of General Surgery for Miners' Colfax Medical Center, located in Raton, New Mexico.
